First Time

This is my first time posting on Little Beets and I had to get permission to post since most of my projects have turned out as failures. So there's a lesson there, right? I can post what did not work out, and we all learn to not do these projects in this way. Right?

Here goes...

Failure #1:
The Electric Guitar.

We have a beautiful friend Margo who loves the guitar and so I tried to make her one for her first birthday.
It came out, well, a little floppy and suggestive. Even my husband piped in that I could NOT give that to a little girl turning one. So I took pictures of it and sent them to my sister for help.
She agreed: No giving this gift.

I should have used thicker, stronger fabric on the sides and according to the husband, included Pick Ups on the front (whatever those look like).
It also takes a LOT of stuffing to make the neck not flop over like, well, you know.

As a solution, I just took the front cut out and sewed it on some terry cloth and made a pillow:



Problem solved!
